Slideshow: The Official Eat a Sandwich Launch Party

Disclaimer: The following is an embarrassingly self-congratulatory article and slideshow about the official launch party for this site, a non-event if there ever was one.

The official Eat a Sandwich launch party featured good drinks and better company and all of that, but mostly there was a six-foot muffuletta and several other tasty bites of sandwich from The Black Squirrel and Chef Gene Sohn. Although many of the appetizer-sized morsels might have fallen just outside our limited definition of “sandwich” (and coincidentally just a day following my post about so-called open-faced sandwiches), none was anything less than excellent. Thanks to all those who braved the Saturday-night-in-Adams-Morgan debauchery to join us, and many, many thanks to The Black Squirrel for hosting our event.
